The Marketing, Sales and Distribution departments took the lead in Montreal and invited all of us to participate in a gift collection (with an approximate investment of $25 to $35 per gift) for a major food bank located on the South Shore of Montreal. The organization known as “Action Nouvelle Vie” was more than happy to receive and redistribute the gifts on behalf of Molson employees.
In addition, around 30 Molson employees volunteered on December 16 to help distribute the food items and gifts for kids.
Thanks to Mathieu Brochu, Louise Perron and Carole Reeves for their precious and invaluable leadership to put a smile in the hearts of numerous kids.
What a wonderful way to make a huge difference!

Molson employees raised a toast the the accomplishment of donating 201 toys to the Toronto Shriners Toy drive this past weekend. At our employee Christmas luncheon on Friday December 12th, Kevin Boyce President and CEO announced that employees had donated 201 toys to the toy drive and that Molson was proud to match $10 per toy with $2010 in support of this worthy cause. Hats off to Bruce in the mail room for taking on this terrific initiative for the second year in a row and for helping us to help those in need in our greater community. There are still lots of opportunities for you to support your commumity with toy, clothing and food drives in communities across Canada. A small donation can make a huge difference for someone in a time of need.

The annual Toronto Shriners Toy Drive is underway. Molson is proud to work with our employees in helping to make a difference for those who are less fortunate, particularily at this time of year.
What’s even more exciting about this opportunity is that the idea came to us from one of the people that works in our mail room at 33 Carlingview. Some of the best ideas for making a difference in the community come from people on the front lines in our business. So, what are we up to ?
Molson employees are encouraged to support the Toronto Shrine Toy drive by bringing a toy for a child between the ages of 5-15. For every toy that is donated by an employee, Molson will match with a $10.00 donation to fund more toys for the toy drive.
Late breaking news and special thanks to our friends at 58 Ninety Inc. for donating a wonderfully large toy that we will auction off to support more funds for the Shriners Toy drive. We do appreciate that support and generosity…cheers.
We encourage others to think about ways to help those in our community in their time of need.
