I can’t believe it’s been almost a month since the end of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games…I’m still having a bit of #van2010 withdrawal! Luckily enough, to help us make it through the post-Olympic pains, 9 Canadian Olympic and Paralympic athletes visited the Molson Coors Toronto’s office on Tuesday afternoon to chat and have a beer with our employees.

Six of our Molson Canadian/Molson Export Fund a Champion athletes joined us along with 3 other Olympians to speak about their experiences at the Games and what’s in the future for them.
Later that evening, the athletes and some of the Molson Coors crew headed to the Leafs game. Thank you to all the athletes…a truly unforgettable night. And big thanks to the MLSE folks for the jerseys, photos and intros, and of course the visit from Carlton the bear!

Molson Hockey Cup players and CWHL players – Sami Jo Small and Sarah Love
Happy to report that in ongoing support of our commitment to athletes, teams and sports associations over the years, Molson’s Fund a Champion Campaign has also been extended to include the Canadian Women’s Hockey League! (CWHL) Molson is supporting the association with a $20,000 donation.
At our Olympic Day BBQ in Toronto on Tuesday, Team Canada Olympians Jennifer Botterill and Sami Jo Small dropped in to chat with employees and take some pics. And in true hockey spirit, we had a road hockey tournament in our parking lot!
Earlier this year, Sami Jo and Sarah Love (Sami’s teammate from the Mississauga Chiefs) stopped by Molson’s Annual Hockey Cup to take some pics with the players and officially accept our donation.
