All motorists stopped will receive road side spot checks and R.I.D.E. CHECKS Reward Booklet.
Yes, it is that time of the year again! The OPP and Toronto Police Services – Traffic Division were on hand to officially launch the Toronto Festive R.I.D.E. program Thursday November 22nd on Humber College Blvd. Commencing now until January 2013 you can expect to be stopped for random spot checks anytime of the day or night.
Jennifer Botterill spoke to a packed room on how it will take everyone of us to help make this a safe holiday. Together we spread the message about making Responsible Choices, and our roads will be safe and everyone will have a happy and safe holiday with family and friends.
Remember to call a cab, have a designated driver or stay overnight. Be safe!
This weekend is the May long weekend and for many people across the country it is the unofficial kick off to summer. This week also is National Road Safety Week.
We think that makes it a perfect time to remind everyone about the importance of making responsible choices.
If you are drinking, we encourage you to plan ahead to get home safely. Get the free TAXIGUY App today to connect you with the closest cab anywhere in the country. Visit taxiguydialer.com to download today.

Congratulations Team A-City Taxi.
Molson Coors and TAXIGUY Inc. thought it was about time to say “THANK YOU” to all of the great Taxi Companies and Taxi Drivers of the TAXIGUY Network for the outstanding job they do day in and day out to ensure the roads are kept safe. We salute you!
A-City Taxi is a key part of the TAXIGUY and TAXI DOLLARS network across Canada. Partners like A-City Taxi provide reliable taxicab service in smaller markets like Pembroke, Ontario. Unlike major cities, Pembroke does not have a robust public transit system and therefore relies heavily on companies like A-City Taxi to provide reliable, safe transportation.
TAXIGUY and Molson Coors Canada are very proud of the partnership we have with A-City Taxi and want to recognize them for their commitment to providing taxicab service to all members of the Pembroke community.
“Joey Couette and his team at A-City Taxi have been a great network partner over the years.” Said Justin Raymond, President of TAXIGUY Inc. “Our goal at TAXIGUY is to increase accessibility to taxicab service in all cities and towns across Canada and we are extremely proud to be working with A-City Taxi in Pembroke, Ontario.”

Once again Lynda Perovich and her Team of Vampires, Ghouls and Goblin’s were out to help take the bite out of a Taxi Ride by distributing Taxi Dollars at key BC Liquor Store Locations in the Richmond, BC area.
Hat’s off to Lynda, she has successfully promoted Molson Coors Responsible Choice TAXIGUY program for the 4th year in a row. Lynda’s Team of Ghouls and Goblins distributed $10,000.00 worth of TAXI Dollars between the hours of 4 and 7 pm on October 30th.
In 2010 over 60% of the Taxi Dollars were redeemed which is up 7% from 2009.
It’s that time of year and Molson Coors Canada officially launches the Ultimate Day 2 contest Wednesday September 7th, 2011.. The contest offers Canadian university and college students the chance to have one full day of adventure that takes them across Canada. It is part of Molson Coors Canada’s active lifestyle and responsible choices program .
The lucky winner and a friend will begin their ultimate day with breakfast in Halifax, then lunch and shopping with a pre-loaded $1,000 MasterCard in Toronto, and ending with dinner and a VIP hockey experience in Vancouver. It’s that time of year again – students across the country are getting ready to head back to campuses. For many students, this will be their first time living away from home and that can bring with it a lot of responsibilities. Molson Coors Canada is doing our part to help ensure that students have the right information to make informed decisions around alcohol and other elements of a healthy lifestyle. We’ll also be celebrating those students that are making responsible choices. You’ll find our reps at select campuses across Canada distributing rewards like TAXIGUY dollars and gift certificates for gas and groceries. It’s our small way of saying “good job” to students that are making the responsible choice.
We’ve once again partnered with The Student Life Education Company to bring our message directly to students. This year’s program theme is “Today is brought to you by last night’s choices”. We’ve got catchy posters and a calendar that covers the school year and is perfect for students to decorate their dorms with and keep track of their busy schedules. It’s full of helpful hints and information on upcoming dates/holidays related to healthy messaging.
And, we’re launching The Ultimate Day Contest. This contest celebrates making the most of your day by making responsible decisions the night before. Two winners will be sent on the ultimate one-day coast-to-coast experience for two. The trip will start with breakfast in Halifax, a shopping spree in Toronto and a dinner and concert in Vancouver. Visit www.facebook.com/theultimateday for details and help us spread the word.
Here’s to a great academic year and here’s to responsible choices.
