2008 marks the tenth anniversary of the MOLSON / TAXIGUY partnership. This tremendous program has helped people make responsible choices for a decade and has resulted in over 2.7 million rides home. This coming holiday season Molson is continuing to promote “Here’s to Responsible Choices” as we encourage people to get home safely for the holidays.

This is a terrific opportunity to by some taxi dollars to share with neighbours, friends and business associates in promoting the responsible choice of enjoying the holiday season but getting home safely with a taxi.  We also remind you to use the 1888TAXIGUY number to call your cab in more the 300 communities across Canada.

Thanks to Justin Raymond at TAXIGUY for a wonderful decade of making a difference and encouraging people to make responsible choices.

Molson VLOG Episode 7: Dauphin’s Countryfest 2008

Molson joined thousands of country music fans at Canada’s largest, longest running outdoor country music festival - Dauphin’s Countryfest 2008.  We sponsored the event’s shuttle service to ensure the festival goers could be responsible and get to and from the event safely.

I’ve been to many festivals over the years, but never a country fest. I’m not big fan of country music, but after seeing this video (created by our good friends at ARC), my view has been swayed a bit — looked like an awesome time with a great crowd of people.  Next year is the 20th anniversary…maybe it’s time for a visit to Dauphin Manitoba!  Road trip anyone?

Molson and its longtime partner the Edmonton Eskimos today announced the “Green and Go” program, a one year pilot program that will provide free service on Park n’ Ride, LRT and regular transit two hours before and after each home game to anyone holding an Eskimo ticket.

Molson is a longtime sponsor of Canadian sports from the grassroots level right up to the pros, and we are proud to play our part in helping to provide a safe and cost effective way for loyal Eskimo fans to get to and from the game this season.
