This weekend is the May long weekend and for many people across the country it is the unofficial kick off to summer. This week also is National Road Safety Week.
We think that makes it a perfect time to remind everyone about the importance of making responsible choices.
If you are drinking, we encourage you to plan ahead to get home safely. Get the free TAXIGUY App today to connect you with the closest cab anywhere in the country. Visit taxiguydialer.com to download today.
This summer, look for the Molson Coors Community Teams in your area spreading the responsible drinking message.

Even with Mother Nature having her say, the Molson Coors Gala was a remarkable event! There were lots on amazing silent auction items to bid on, a great personal story was shared by Bill Melathopolous about living with and understanding Epilepsy, a United Way message was brought to us by Ruth Ramsted-Wood, an unbelievable performance by Gord Bamford and his band, the Pheasant Pluckers, and of course the State of the Union on the Calgary Flames from Assistant GM Jay Feaster.
The highlight of the event was the “Cheque Presentation” of $26,603.99

The Lorette Curling Club celebrated with a “grand opening’ on Friday, October 29. Over the past year, the Club had created a new logo and signage, in addition, they built a permanent bar in the lounge. The enthusiasm and the energy of the Lorette Curling Club volunteers was recognized with a $5,000 donation from the Molson Coors Community Investment Fund.

Molson Coors donates $10 000.00 toward the Star City Arena Geothermal project. The project will see a geothermal heating system installed in the rink enabling the creation of artifical ice. This will allow the arena to continue to provide the much needed ice time to the town’s residents and to the residents of the surrounding areas, thereby encouraging greater participation in winter ice sports.
