Photo: Boundless Adventures Team; Carew Herback, Molson
What a great photo! I wish Hammer and I had been able to help you out Carew with this one….below Carew gives us a glimpse of his day at Boundless;
My time at Boundless was spent watching young adults at the Boundless Ranch, a beautiful outdoor recreational area used to give outdoor opportuntities to those who could not enjoy them otherwise. The adventures are endless at Boundless, this group offers a wide variety of activities to challenge these young adults and in turn they will stretch their personal limits. No easy task for anyone. Quite a few of the activities are on the water; canoeing and kayaking the rapids seem to be the most popular. I was particularly inspired by the jungle gym and rock climbing barn that were wheelchair accessible. It was truly an amazing experience. Check out their website at www.boundlessadventures.org.
Thank you Carew for sharing your day with all of us, Cheers!

Tonia Hammer, our Community Outreach Coordinator and I met early Monday morning to take a road trip to Barrie Ontario, YAHOO!!, we met up with Caron Goodreau at the Gilda’s Club Barrie Ontario office. This was the first time Tonia had the opportunity to meet Caron and her Team. I had been up to meet the group myself in December, (See my earlier post “My afternoon at Gilda’s”). We all headed over to Georgian College to the Last Class Pub for the Molson Barrie Community Fund donation and the unveiling of the model clubhouse. It was a great morning for a very worthy cause. I hope to be there for the grand opening in 2010!!

I met briefly with Professor Pepper’s engineering students, Scott, Lindsay and Gayle who are responsible for building the Clubhouse model. They spent countless of hours of their time to complete the model for today’s unveiling.

I had the pleasure to meet with this fine group of students regarding Molson’s Responsible Choices program. I was able to bring some give aways, which is always popular, to help me win them over. We played with our herestoresponsiblechoices site, spoke about the support items we offer the students on campus and how important it is to be make responsible choices. Hats off to you all, I enjoyed speaking to the group!!
