Molson Coors April Month of Action continues with our Toronto sales teams at a Habitat for Humanity Build. Habitat is something I’ve participated in through work and also with my family – fun day and quite educational! Next week, a Brewery team will be at the same Habitat site (William’s Way site on Weston at Jane) as these guys. Maybe we’ll finish the house!

With the help from GTA Tri Cities Team Molson Coors, the Salvation Army Burlington Food Bank got caught up with the sorting. We sorted 20 skids of boxes packed with a variety of foods; I asked Chris how many pounds of food does that work out to? Well, it turns out that we sorted approximately 12,000 pounds of food that morning. The boxes that were sorted today will be stored to have as stock to help clients during the summer months ahead. Way to go Team!
April ‘Month of Action’ continues at Molson Coors Brewing Company. On Monday, the Toronto office was at the Daily Bread Food Bank, packing and sorting thousands of pounds of fresh and non-perishable food. All I have to say is: WOW, the DBFB is a machine – so organized and accommodating for large groups of volunteers. They also make it competitive!

Results: I’m not so thrilled to announce that team 1 won (not my team). Just joking (kind of), congrats guys!

On April 9th, the entire Halifax team joined forces for Molson Coors Month of Action, sharing their time, hands and enthusiasm with Feed Nova Scotia. The team sorted dry goods that were later distributed throughout Nova Scotia.
The Halifax folks were joined by special guest Geoff Molson, who was also in town to introduce new Molson M in Nova Scotia.
