Night of Museums is a unique cultural event providing locals and tourists the opportunity to tour multiple museums, which remain open until late at night for free. It started in Croatia in 2005 and Zagrebačka Pivovara, a Molson Coors company, joined as a partner five years later.
On January 31, for the fifth consecutive year, Zagrebačka Pivovara surprised many visitors with a night of entertainment and educational programs at the Museum of Zagrebačka Pivovara. Visitors were able to return to the past as a part of the historical overview that included newspapers from the 1892 which included articles about the establishment of the brewery, Christmas Beer artwork from the past 24 years, and old labels and artifacts from the brewery’s rich history. Visitors also had the opportunity to learn about the proper beer pouring ritual, see an informational film of Zagrebačka Pivovara and natural beer production, enjoy their favorite beer and even buy beer souvenirs!
Zagrebačka Pivovara hosts a growing number of visitors and plays an important role in Zagreb’s diverse cultural offering.

For the second consecutive year, we’ve received the Industry Leader and Gold Class distinction for our excellent sustainability performance in the RobecoSAM’s Sustainability Yearbook 2014.
The Sustainability Yearbook looks back at companies’ sustainability performance in 2013 and ranks them as Gold, Silver or Bronze. The top performing company from each of the 59 industries is awarded RobecoSAM Industry Leader. Click here to view a full list of Industry Leaders.
This year, RobecoSAM made it more challenging to be a yearbook member requiring companies to be within the top 15% of their industry in regards to sustainability practices. And, they must also achieve a score within 30% of their Industry Leader’s score to make the cut. This effectively makes being a yearbook member a more exclusive acknowledgement of a company’s sustainability practices.
This recognition proudly sits alongside last year’s other Our Beer Print successes: World Beverage Sector Leader on the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index and achieving a position of leadership in the in CDP’s S&P 500 Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI).
These recognitions prove that by working to improve our positive Our Beer Print, we can win the right way!

Last month, ten Molson Coors employees participated in the Sherbrooke Firemen’s 73rd annual toy drive. Contributing to this cause has been a tradition with our employees in Sherbrooke for over 40 years!
Cheers to Daniel Tisdel for rallying the team to participate this year, and to Michael Panneton, Kevin Glaude, Jérôme Larouche, Maxime Packwood, Olivier-Paul St-Germain, Josée Lortie, Yves St-Laurent, Richard Lacroix, Paul Panneton, and their spouses for taking the time to give back to their community.
