Ferg Devins

Ferg here…in fact here since 1981 when I started as a summer representative in Kenora Ontario ! My first full time job in 1984 with Molson was as a sales representative in the Parkdale territory in Toronto, after completing my studies at Queen’s University in Kingston. I’ve had the privilege of experiencing a number of different facets of the beer industry while at Molson including sales, marketing, sports and entertainment, advertising, communications, government relations, field marketing and industry relations. I’m currently responsible for Government and Public Affairs. It is a pleasure to be in dialogue with the greater community that is so critically important to Molson’s success over 222 years. Molson engagement with the community remains part of our culture and heritage. It is also a real treat to be joined by a wide range of experience and talent in my fellow bloggers here at Molson. I look forward to engaging on matters that will help build healthy communities, promote active lifestyles and help Canadians with skills development. Cheers !

Hi everyone and thanks for the visit to Molson’s blog.

A little background about what I do here at Molson…..I started as a PR intern from Humber College working with the Digital Marketing team and Corporate Affairs team on our social media and online communications.  Recently I moved roles and am now part of the community relations team for English Canada (based in Toronto).  I work alongside Ferg, as we discover, share and innovate in the world of online communications.  I love, love, love coming to work every day!

I’m a great believer in community investment and corporate philanthropy, and this blog is a place where I can rant and rave about what Molson does – from donations to sponsorships to environment to brewing!

Look forward to chatting with you here or on twitter @MolsonTonia Let me know if there’s anything you’d like us to write about. Cheers.

Hello all,

I trust all of you in the blogshpere are doing well and thank you for taking the time to visit our Molson Community Blog.  I have been with Molson since 1994 where I worked at our Merchandise arm which supported the Field Sales Representatives with promotional items.  Very cool place to be!!

In 2000 I moved to the Consumer Relations Group and in 2002 moved over to Government and Public Affairs where I remain today.  I work with Ferg, Bryan, Amir and Tonia on initiatives within our communities across Canada.  A very rewarding experience.

So, stay tuned and we love to hear what you have to say….

Bonjour! I’m one of communications guru here at Molson where I’ve been since May 2007.  Before joining Molson, I practiced my PR and communications trade in the airline and banking industries.  I currently reside in Burlington, ON, where I moved from Montreal eight years ago — already!

I’ve had many great work experiences since completing my Business studies way back when.  But over the years, I developed a genuine interest in public relations.  In 2005, to round out my professional experience, I completed a post-grad program in PR at Laurier University in Brantford.  I’ve since entirely re-focused my career within the PR field.

An aspect of my work that I particularly enjoy is meeting employees from all over our organization. I like learning about their unique stories or passions and discover how some are truly engaged in the community…outside of work.

There are amazing people here at Molson, and I intend to blog about them here on the Molson in the community blog.  I’m looking forward to our conversations.

Hi everyone, it’s Bryan here. I’m based in Edmonton and I handle the Government Relations and Public Affairs in Western Canada.  I’ve been with Molson since 2007 and have enjoyed every minute of it.

Working for a company where giving back to the community is ingrained in the DNA is an absolute pleasure.  At Molson, we truly believe in Canada’s communities and the people that live in them; we always have and we always will.  It’s an honour to travel the west, meeting the fantastic people that make this great country what it is and bringing you their stories.

We sincerely hope you enjoy our blog — we look forward to your comments here and on twitter (@MolsonBryan)
