Ferg here…in fact here since 1981 when I started as a summer representative in Kenora Ontario ! My first full time job in 1984 with Molson was as a sales representative in the Parkdale territory in Toronto, after completing my studies at Queen’s University in Kingston. I’ve had the privilege of experiencing a number of different facets of the beer industry while at Molson including sales, marketing, sports and entertainment, advertising, communications, government relations, field marketing and industry relations. I’m currently responsible for Government and Public Affairs. It is a pleasure to be in dialogue with the greater community that is so critically important to Molson’s success over 221 years. Molson engagement with the community remains part of our culture and heritage. It is also a real treat to be joined by a wide range of experience and talent in my fellow bloggers here at Molson. I look forward to engaging on matters that will help build healthy communities, promote active lifestyles and help Canadians with skills development. Cheers !

Hi Molson blog readers!
Well….what can I tell you about me? I’m new to Molson, started here in January 2008, working with Ferg (above) on Molson’s Community Blog. Have to say that it’s a wonderful thing to get to write and work on a blog that focuses on the great things that Molson does in its communities across Canada.
A little background about me….I grew up Waterloo, ON and moved to Toronto about three years ago to attend Humber College. I originally began my studies at Wilfred Laurier University focusing on sciences, but then made a switch to PR and communications.
When I’m not working or online, you’ll most likely find me spending time with my friends and family. I love, love, love skiing and am trying to get better at snowboarding (trying……). I also love music. My tastes range from classical to rock to jazz, and if I have time, you’ll most likely find me at a concert.
I’m a great believer in community investment and corporate philanthropy, so I’m very excited to keep this blog up-to-date with Molson’s community events and stories.
I’d love to hear from you.
