About This Blog
Why we’re writing this blog
Molson in the Community is a place for the staff of Canada’s oldest brewery to share the great works they do on behalf of Molson in the thousands of communities across the country. Since 1786, Molson has prided itself on being a valuable part of the communities in which its beer is brewed and sold.
Our goal as the blog’s authors is to share stories, highlight the organizations we support and participate with and try and shed a little light on the people and personalities that make Molson a great place to work.
Authors
This is a group blog and will have multiple authors posting. All entries will be written by those whose names appear on the posts–there will be no ghost-writing. New authors will be added all the time. We’ll post bios, photos and contact information for each author on the “Authors” page.
Comment Policy
Molson in the Community is a public forum. Your comments are welcome and encouraged, but due to the regulatory and legal environment we operate under, we will have to review and approve comments before they are posted live on the blog. We’ll do our best to approve comments as quickly as possible. If, for some reason, we can’t post your comment, we’ll send you an e-mail (provided you included it with your comment) and let you know why. If we have to edit your comment for any reason prior to posting it, we’ll make a note of that.
Of course, personal attacks or profane, racist, sexist, intolerant or off-topic remarks may be edited out or removed from the comments sections completely.
Another thing that we’ll have to edit from comments is unsolicited business ideas (products, ads, promotions, etc.) Sorry, but we cannot accept unsolicited ideas because of sticky legal issues. We have many people (agencies and employees) constantly working on new ideas-and it’s possible that something we’re working on could be similar to your idea. Therefore, to guard against duplication, we do not accept outside solicitations.
Why isn’t this blog bilingual?
The activities reported in this blog are primarly the activities of our team outside the province of Quebec, so we’ll be blogging in the authors’ first language of English for now. We’ll have information from Quebec from time to time, and our team there will be working on similar initiatives in the near future.
Privacy
Take a look at our privacy policy. You can tell our legal department wrote it. But, believe us, we take your privacy seriously.
