One year later…Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games
Share TweetHard to believe that one year ago today, we were just hours away from the Opening Ceremony of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Time really does fly by.
I was talking to some colleagues over a beer last night about our Olympic experiences – both as employees of the official beer supplier to the Games and as Canadians welcoming the world to our country. The best way we could sum up our experience is that it was a one in a lifetime, sometimes sleepless, time of our lives. Tough to say what my favourite or best memory of the Games is…there are so many moments of greatness. A couple that make the top of my list:
* Molson Canadian Hockey House (any day…it was always full of energy, hockey game or not)
* Watching Denny Morrison win GOLD in speed skating on my West Jet flight home..live – the plane went nuts when he won! So cool
* Toronto Hockey House Tweetup for the Men’s Gold Medal Hockey Games – there are no words for this except #bestdayever
What’s your favourite Olympic memory?
Molson Coors Canada is so proud to have been the Official Beer Supplier to the 2010 Winter Games, allowing us the opportunity to celebrate an amazing accomplishment with the world. Congrats again to our Canadian athletes, their coaches, families and friends; and to the Olympic and Paralympic Organizing Committees and Volunteers for helping to put Canada on top of the world stage.
We hope you’ll raise a Molson Canadian and celebrate the memories with us this weekend. Cheers @MolsonTonia
