Here’s to Responsible Choices at the 2010 Grey Cup in EdmontonShare Tweet
At Molson Coors Canada, we are big fans of Canadian Football and Molson Canadian is a proud sponsor of the 98th Grey Cup in Edmonton. We are pleased to be working with Grey Cup Festival organizers to ensure that responsible drinking and getting home safely is on the agenda for Grey Cup revellers by:
- co-sponsoring the Green and Go Program, which provides free transit to/from the game for everyone with a valid Grey Cup ticket. This is an extension of our regular season partnership with the Eskimos and the City of Edmonton.
- Distributing TAXI DOLLARS, the national currency of 1 888 TAXIGUY, at select festival locations. Molson Coors Canada is a founder of 1-888-TAXIGUY – a nationwide network of 425 taxicab companies linked together through one, easy to remember, toll-free phone number. Since 1998, TAXIGUY has helped facilitate over 3 million safe rides home. In Edmonton, TAXIGUY is partnered with Yellow Cab, Barrel Taxi, Check Cabs, Prestige Cabs and CO OP Taxi.
- Promoting the TAXIGUY Dialer, which is a phone app that quickly connects you to a cab in the TAXIGUY network. The app provides another tool to help people make responsible choices when drinking. It’s available FREE for iPhone, Blackberry and Android phones by visiting http://www.taxiguydialer.com on your phone web browser.
- Placing Co-branded Spider signs, posters and banners at all key festival locations and on site at the game, reminding revellers to drink responsibly.
Looking forward to a great game between the Riders and the Als!
