Playing Our Part At The Dave Dunmore Annual Baseball Tournament
Share TweetThis past Friday, I cut work a bit early since I had the opportunity to attend another Molson Coors sponsored event. This time, for the Dave Dunmore annual baseball tournament, held at Centennial Park in Etobicoke…just 10 minutes from our Molson Coors Toronto headquarters. The Dave Dunmore tournament is an annual slo-pitch baseball event in honour of Dave Dunmore, 22 Divison, who was sadly killed in the line of duty.
The tournament, which also serves as a fundraiser for Toronto Victim Services, has been running for 26 years. I had the opportunity to meet Deputy Peter Sloly, and the Director of Toronto Victim Services, Bonnie Levine. Both volunteered to speak about the tournament and the strong impact it has had on raising awareness and money to help Toronto crime victims. This year, Molson Coors proudly donated $6000 to the cause.
In case you didn’t know, Toronto Victim Services provides immediate on-site assistance and then ensures the victim is linked to longer-term services within their community. Check out the videos to see Bonnie Levine and Deputy Peter Sloly discuss the tournament and the cause.

I like the interviews … congratulations to the whole team for getting involved and dedicated to that wonderful cause!
