Molson Coors Calgary Employees played their part at a One-of-a-Kind Camp for kids with special needs. Since 1965, the Easter Seals Camp Horizon has been brightening the lives of over 85,000 deserving young Albertans. Campers make new friends and support networks, they learn new skills and overcome challenges they never thought possible. They spend time with others who face the same challenges they do and for one week, they are not different – kids can just be kids again!
Sixteen volunteers from the Molson Coors Calgary Sales and West MDA office said “I WILL” MAKE A DIFFERENCE when they came out to the Easter Seals Camp Horizon on Friday May 31st to help get the camp ready for the kids this summer. Molson Coors employees were able to work through some of the Camps priority projects on their “to do” list. Tasks included building new seating benches for the camps-fire pit, trail maintenance, changing locks, sanding/staining shelves & painting.
It would taken the Camps Maintenance Crew weeks to complete the jobs that we accomplished in a day.
