Molson Coors Volunteers “sharpen their pencils” for Heart & Stroke
Share TweetIt is the last week of April and the Molson Coors’ volunteers sharpen their pencils and flex their fingers to help the Heart and Stroke Foundation in local offices. Volunteers are needed at this time of year to help out with administration tasks, such as writing out receipts for donations, data entry and counting money from school campaigns in the area. Three groups of volunteers rose to the occasion and were able to cover off a morning and two afternoons at Brampton and Toronto Heart & Stroke Offices.
The Heart and Stroke Foundation, a volunteer-based health charity, leads in eliminating heart disease and stroke and reducing their impact through: the advancement of research and its application, the promotion of healthy living, and advocacy – please see www.heartandstroke.on.ca !

After a quick lunch I was back at the Heart and Stroke Foundation office for Group 2, small but mighty, these gals got the job done!
Kevin and Company traveled to the Heart and Stroke Foundation located on Yonge Street where they jumped in to help counting of cash and writing receipts out for donation submitted.
Guys, Job well done!
Cheers, CaroleB
