Burlington Food Bank gets all “Sorted Out”

With the help from GTA Tri Cities Team Molson Coors, the Salvation Army Burlington Food Bank got caught up with the sorting. We sorted 20 skids of boxes packed with a variety of foods; I asked Chris how many pounds of food does that work out to? Well, it turns out that we sorted approximately 12,000 pounds of food that morning. The boxes that were sorted today will be stored to have as stock to help clients during the summer months ahead. Way to go Team!

Molson Coors Month of Action continues with Mayor Miller’s Community Clean Up today (Friday) at 2:oo pm at our 33 Carlingview Drive location.
