16,000 pounds at the Daily Bread Food BankShare Tweet
April ‘Month of Action’ continues at Molson Coors Brewing Company. On Monday, the Toronto office was at the Daily Bread Food Bank, packing and sorting thousands of pounds of fresh and non-perishable food. All I have to say is: WOW, the DBFB is a machine – so organized and accommodating for large groups of volunteers. They also make it competitive!
- Two teams
- 2 hours of sorting and packing
- 16,000 pounds of food
- Who can sort/pack the most by weight
Results: I’m not so thrilled to announce that team 1 won (not my team). Just joking (kind of), congrats guys!
Some pics from the day below. Up next for Ontario – Habitat for Humanity Builds, Burlington Food Bank (today!), Heart and Stoke Foundation, Mayor Miller’s Community Clean up, Tree Planting, and more…. Cheers! MolsonTonia
