What does this mean? Well, if you’re a regular reader of this blog, you’ll know that community involvement is nothing new for Molson Coors. Our company has a long, proud heritage of volunteer work and community investment built over many generations, and that commitment lives on today through many individual and team efforts. Month of Action is simply a continuation of this tradition and a way to coordinate the extensive volunteer work our employees are already doing globally through the year.
Throughout the Month of April, Molson Coors employees will join one of many company-sponsored volunteer projects in Canada, the U.K and the U.S. Here in Canada, we have over 30 events planned – from community clean ups in parks to planting trees, building homes and working in food banks.
We had our first event in Ontario yesterday, and I made the short road trip to Niagara Falls to volunteer with the South Central Sales team at Project S.H.A.R.E. Project S.H.A.R.E stands for: Support, Housing, Awareness, Resources and Emergency – it was developed as a non – profit charitable organization in response to an increased demand for emergency services in the Niagara region. Our team spent the morning packing and sorting food donations.

Watch for more updates on events across Canada during April. We have a goal of 6,000 volunteer hours in 2010, and Month of Action is a great start in reaching that goal. Cheers. @MolsonTonia

You are all sparkling … you seem to have so much fun … do not worry, we will try to compete here in Quebec and follow your steps. Congratulations … I salute your engagement!
