Molson Canadian from Vancouver’s Burrard Street Brewery on its way to Chicago
Share TweetYou’ve got to love hockey rivalries!
Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson wagered some of Vancouver’s finest local products, including a case of Molson Canadian from our Burrard Street Brewery, with his Chicago counterpart Richard Daley on the Western Conference semi-final between the cities’ two respective teams. Unfortunately, although they fought hard, the Canucks did not prevail in the series.
Today, I was pleased to be part of a photo opportunity at Vancouver City Hall as Mayor Robertson packed up a Vancouver Canucks hockey bag full of the locally made products to be sent to Chicago.

We at Molson are very honoured that the Mayor chose to highlight our fantastic product in his wager. We are proud to have been brewing beer at our brewery on Burrard Street for the past 51 years and just last year invested $32 million in an expansion that increased our capacity by 40%. And, as the official beer supplier to the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, we are looking forward to helping welcome the world to Vancouver in February.
Cheers!

Awesome.
