Molson supports Winnipeg’s Victoria General Hospital

This week, Molson was proud to be a part of one of Winnipeg’s social events of the year through our sponsorship of the Victoria General Hospital Foundations’s fundraiser, Jewels, supporting the creation of two new minimally invasive surgery suites at the hospital. Minimally invasive techniques provide many benefits to the patient, including less pain, fewer complications, reduced recovery time, and a faster return to normal daily activities.
Held at Winnipeg’s beautiful and historic Pantages Playhouse Theatre, Jewels was a performance by Manohar, a dance company that intersects the world of ballet with the emotive technique of Bharatanatyam Indian Dance and consisted of four suites: Ruby, Pearl, Emerald and Sapphire. The dancers delighted the packed theatre with their performance. It truly was a fantastic evening and Molson was proud to be there in support.
On behalf of the Victoria General Hospital Foundation – I would like to Thank Molson’s for their support of Jewels – This was the first time the Foundation had hosted an event of this nature and size and Molson’s played an impressive role in making this event a real success. As Bryan mentioned, the record breaking proceeds from Jewels will truly make a difference for patients requiring surgery at the Vic. Thank you MOLSON’S!
